Chargeback Policy

Chargebacks

By placing an order with West Coast Euros, you agree to contact us directly and provide us a reasonable opportunity to resolve any concern before initiating any chargeback, payment dispute, payment reversal, or claim with your credit card issuer, bank, financing provider, or payment processor. You agree that filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first attempting to resolve the matter with us in good faith may be deemed a violation of these Terms, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

If a product is labeled as custom made, we are protected from any chargebacks that are on made-to-order products within the defined time frame of order production.

You acknowledge and agree that West Coast Euros sells aftermarket, performance, racing-inspired, special-order, and vehicle-specific products, and that such products may require professional installation, coding, trimming, calibration, modification, supporting parts, or other adjustments. You further acknowledge that aftermarket products may differ from OEM products in sound, fitment approach, finish, appearance, operation, or performance characteristics, and that these differences alone do not constitute a basis for a chargeback, claim of fraud, or claim that the product was not as described, so long as the product substantially conforms to the applicable listing or description.

You agree that chargebacks or payment disputes are not appropriate remedies for reasons including, without limitation: buyer’s remorse; mistaken purchases by you or any person using your payment method, device, or account; project delays; installation difficulty; failure to read the listing; failure to verify compatibility, chassis, trim, year, drivetrain, or other fitment details; dissatisfaction with expected sound, finish, appearance, or performance; delays associated with backordered, made-to-order, custom, drop-shipped, or special-order items; refusal to accept a shipment; inability or unwillingness to complete installation; labor charges; shop fees; diagnostic charges; import duties or taxes; or damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, racing use, abuse, accident, modification, or use outside the product’s intended application.

Before opening any payment dispute, you must contact West Coast Euros using our posted support contact information, provide a written description of the issue, and allow us at least five (5) business days to review and respond. Where applicable, you agree to follow our posted return, exchange, shipping, warranty, inspection, lost package, and claims procedures before seeking reversal of payment. If we request photographs, videos, serial numbers, installation documentation, proof of damage, proof of non-delivery, or other reasonably necessary information to evaluate your claim, you agree to provide it promptly and truthfully.

West Coast Euros reserves the right to review, hold, cancel, limit, or refuse any order for fraud prevention, verification, inventory, pricing, shipping, export, compliance, or risk-management purposes. We may require additional identity verification, billing verification, signature confirmation, alternate delivery instructions, or payment by wire, ACH, or other approved method before processing or releasing an order. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order that we suspect to be fraudulent, unauthorized, high-risk, or otherwise in violation of these Terms.

You acknowledge that order records, checkout records, IP logs, device data, billing and shipping information, fraud screening results, communications, tracking records, delivery confirmations, signature records, photographs, videos, product listings, fitment notes, and policy acknowledgments may be maintained and used by West Coast Euros or its service providers in connection with fraud prevention, order review, dispute defense, law enforcement requests, collections, or legal proceedings.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, West Coast Euros reserves the right to contest it with any relevant evidence, including but not limited to order confirmations, invoices, transaction metadata, billing and shipping records, fraud screening results, shipment tracking, proof of delivery, signature confirmation, customer communications, product descriptions, fitment disclosures, return policy disclosures, and evidence of acceptance of these Terms and related policies at checkout.

You are also required to send the product back if a chargeback is created.

If a payment dispute, chargeback, or reversal is found to be fraudulent, abusive, unauthorized by the actual cardholder due to the purchaser’s own conduct, or otherwise unwarranted, West Coast Euros reserves the right, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to recover any resulting losses, including the unpaid order balance, returned merchandise losses, shipping losses, chargeback fees, processor penalties, administrative costs, collection costs, court costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, cancel pending orders, refuse future transactions, remove eligibility for promotions or store credit, require cleared payment before future shipment, and report suspected fraud or theft to payment processors, collections agencies, law enforcement, or other appropriate third parties.

You agree that acceptance of a return request, warranty review, replacement review, partial refund, store credit, troubleshooting assistance, or any other customer-service effort by West Coast Euros does not constitute an admission of fault and does not waive any of our rights under these Terms, our other policies, or applicable law. Any exception we make in one instance does not require us to make the same exception in any other instance.

Where a package is marked delivered by the carrier to the address provided by the customer, West Coast Euros may rely on such carrier confirmation, delivery scan, GPS confirmation, photograph, or signature confirmation as evidence of fulfillment, unless applicable law requires otherwise. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the shipping address submitted at checkout is accurate, secure, and capable of receiving the delivery. Refusal of delivery, failure to retrieve a package, or shipment to an incorrect address provided by the customer does not void the customer’s payment obligations and may result in fees, return shipping charges, restocking deductions, or denial of refund where permitted by our posted policies and applicable law.

If your purchase involves a special-order, custom, made-to-order, pre-order, or non-returnable item, you acknowledge that such item may be non-cancelable and non-refundable except as required by law. Initiating a chargeback because you no longer want such an item, do not wish to wait for it, or no longer need it after it has been ordered or produced on your behalf is expressly prohibited under these Terms to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Nothing in this Section is intended to limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law, including rights relating to genuinely unauthorized transactions, billing errors, or defective goods where such rights cannot legally be disclaimed. However, you agree that any claim you raise must be truthful, supported by evidence, and made in good faith.
